I again went into Parish registers, then  Hjorring County (drop down). 

I then searched for Tars Sogn (drop down), then Kontraministerialbog (1814 - 1964):

And what did I find - nothing!

So I decided to search Stenum, Hjorring.

At this point I decided to look up Tårs in the FamilySearch wiki.The headstone photo posted to FindAGrave.com stated that Carl Larsen Jensen was born in Taars Denmark.

I went back to the parish records:

I went into the "Dod" (death) records (from the Index page) and found the following entries:

This record page shows 2 Martin Larsons.

The first Martin was born 18 March 1868.

The 2nd Martin was born 22 March 1878.

This is document is telling me that 1st Martin died in 14 July 1877.

The 2nd Martin died 10 August 1878.

While going through the birth records for this family, I noticed that Carl and Marie had 2 sons by the same name:

I found the pages for marriages on the Index page, which led me to Carl and Marie's marriage record on page 101.

The dates of the banns was - 29 July through the 13th of August

                                

Marie Pedersdotter's age was 28.

Her residence was in Stenum.

Her father's name was Christen Pedersen.

To further research the relationships of this family I will need to go elsewhere including:

     Past census'
     Emmigration out of Denmark
     Marriages
     Deaths

I have found the family on the census, I now progress to marriages.

After seeing the 1880 census that lists their children and the children's ages, we can surmise approximately when Carl and Marie were married.

I advanced 1 page and:

Carl Larsen's household is the first family tallied in the census!

There is Carl and Marie, their 4 children, and 4 other members of Marie's family - maybe.

Marian Esterholt and I looked farther into the film and found that other census takers listed their families first in the census as well.

Using the navigation bar forward the film to the next page, scanning each family entry looking for a Carl Christian Larsen, as well as his wife, Marie Pederson, and one son named Anton who was approximately 4 years old.

On page 22, I came across the first page for a small village. The census taker was one Carl Larsen!

Was he the Carl Larsen who had a son named Anton in 1876?
